The Ossipov National Academic Folk Instruments Orchestra of Russia is often called “the national property of Russian music culture” and “the visit card of Russia”. It is unique ensemble of musicians playing only on Russian folk instruments. Since the time of its foundation and until our days the OBO performed thousands of concerts all over the world and deserved the reputation of one of the best folk ensembles of the planet.

Musicians of The Ossipov Balalaika Orchestra do not limit themselves only to regular Moscow concert season. During 90 years of its history The OBO performed virtually in every city of Russia and CIS, recorded 69 LPs and 34 CDs. The Orchestra toured Great Britain, France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Cyprus, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico and USA.
